The following is a list of questions and answers that Cloe Legal has answered for other clients who were trying to determine if the firm was a good fit for their today problem and also a good advisor for their tomorrow. What is your specialty?

Cloe Legal counsels small and midsized businesses across a broad range of issues and across the entire life cycle of a business. Some of the most common client issues include; business formation and partnership agreements, corporate and partnership structuring, limited liability company (LLC) and partnership disputes, contract drafting and dispute, mergers and acquisitions, real estate lease or purchase, and negotiation and litigation for commercial disputes. For any work that Cloe Legal doesn’t do, the firm can give you a qualified referral.
What kind of experience do you have?

Randall Cloe founded Cloe Legal in 2013, and he had a decade of experience in marketing and advertising prior to starting the firm. In the years since 2013, Randall has helped startup dozens of small businesses, and served even more, counseling them through growth, Intellectual Property filing , employee disputes, business disputes, partnership disputes, business acquisition and sale, and even dissolution. The firm provides cradle to grave services for the full expanse and duration of the closely held small business.
Do you have any experience with my kind of business/industry?

Cloe Legal serves businesses and owners across a wide variety of industries including construction, healthcare, automobile services, personal services, and restaurants, just to name a few. You are welcome to contact the firm for a preliminary conversation to discuss the nature of your business and any potential for industry-specific knowledge your matter may require.
How do you bill for your services?

For most of the firm’s legal services, the issue or matter can be assigned a flat fee at the outset of the legal engagement. That means that most clients will know exactly how much their services will cost before any work has begun, and won’t be asked to pay more than the stated flat fee, even if the work takes more time than anticipated. If a client matter includes some amount of speculative work such as an unknown amount of research, it is likely the firm can still closely estimate the anticipated fees, and consult with the client before exceeding the estimate. Like nearly all law firms, Cloe Legal also has a set hourly rate that can be applied on an as needed basis, referred to as the ‘billable hour’. However, the firm use of the billable hour is the exception rather than the rule. If the matter is litigation or similar dispute, where the complexity, duration and termination of the matter are exclusively under the control of the two parties, then it is likely that the engagement will be assigned the billable hour.
Who will be handling my matter?

It’s Randall. You’ll initially speak with and/or meet with Randall to discuss your matter and discern whether Cloe Legal is right for you. If you choose to have the firm represent you, then it will be Randall who handles your matter, from the initial consultation through the natural conclusion of the representation agreement.
How will you communicate with me?

The firm will regularly communicate through the telephone and email. If you call the office and are directed to voicemail, leave a message with a concise explanation of why you called and the best time to reach you if you are expecting a return call. You are welcome to call or email at any time of the day or night, as is convenient for you. Any voicemail or message you send will be responded to within 2 business days.
